Celebrate YOU | Graduation Announcements and Invitations with Basic Invite
Thank you to Basic Invite for sponsoring this post!
Spring break is coming up and before you know it graduation season will be upon us! It always gets me thinking about my time in school. I graduated college back in May 2017, but I was crazy enough to send myself back to school this year.
With so much going on this past year, it’s important to focus on your accomplishments and achievements that have come out of this year. Although graduation is going to look different for many, that doesn’t lessen the achievement. Even though you can’t invite everyone to celebrate in person, find a way to still include your people. Celebrate YOU, you’ve worked so hard for this! The first step is the announcement.
Graduation Invitations and Announcements with Basic Invite
When I was graduating, I did a fun shoot with my friend Caitlin (@caitlinandcamera) for some photos to use on my invites (throwback of my real life invitation below). Basic Invite would have been a great resource for me to print my graduation party invites. So today I’m highlighting some of their features that will help you when you’re creating your college and high school graduation party invitations and graduation announcements.
What I love about Basic Invite is that they have a whole library of hundreds of cute, modern and minimal designs, but they also allow you to upload your own design if you wish. This is something you won’t find everywhere, usually I’ve found that the options are very limited. As a graphic designer, I like that I have the option to upload my own design, but also have some to choose from if I wanted to whip something up real quick.
If you choose a graduation invitation template from their library, you can also change all colors and fonts with ease. The interface is so easy to use. Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. Once you select a design, you can change the color of each element on the card. With over 180 colors to choose from, you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it. This sets them apart from almost any other online stationery company. They also offer silver, gold and rose gold foil! Customers can choose flat or raised foil on all of Basic Invite’s foil designs.
Basic Invite also offers their invites with on clear or frosted vinyl, which is something I’ve never seen ANYWHERE. I think these ones are so cool and unique, you could even print your own photos to layer behind them. I ordered a vinyl business card (just for show, not my actual cards) and the quality is very nice. Anything you print on this material will make a big statement.
If you make your own graduation announcement with Basic Invite you can also order a sample to see what it will look like when you print you final copies. You can see the paper quality and how it will print in real life and make sure the card is perfect. I ordered a few samples of some stationery for myself and it really helps me see how the colors will print.
If you are not graduating and want to use Basic Invite, they also have full libraries of templates for any event you can think of, with many options for weddings and wedding events.
Right now Basic Invite is offering 15% off with coupon code: 15FF51.
Thank you so much for reading this post, I hope I provided some inspiration for you to announce those big life events. Tag or DM me if you order any invites from Basic Invite, I’d love to see what you create!
XOXO Jess
